Our Shotgun Shell Belt Studs are handmade using the nickel ends (the heads) of authentic Winchester 12 gauge shotgun shell hulls. These are not cast cheap knockoffs, they are made from the real thing.
Please note that a belt is NOT supplied, studs are purchased to add to your belt.
Belt Studs can also be used on other applications having a minimum of 3/16" thickness such as guitar straps, purses, saddlebags, etc |

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Diameter of head is 3/4" and designed for a minimum 3/16" thickness belt. Your belt can be thicker, but not thinner. This allows the screw (supplied) to draw the stud into the hole with minimal tightening to keep it snug.
Installation hole should be a 15/64" hole for tight fit or a 1/4" hole which we suggest. The cleaner you make the hole in your belt, the better the fit will be, so just be careful and accurate when making your holes. You can use an electric drill with the correct size bit (15/64" or 1/4") to drill your hole, but it will rough on the edges, not like a punched hole, which we do suggest (see picture).
These do not require over tightening, just gently turn the attaching screw while holding the stud against the belt until snug, DO NOT over tighten.
Wearing your belt on your pants, have someone else make a small mark between your belt loops. This will determine the number of Belt Studs you will need and where to punch the holes.
Also if your measurements are correct, you will have some back and forth play of your belt without the studs contacting the belt loops.
