CARE AND CLEANING
BRASS PRODUCTS

We suggest using Nevr-Dull™ Magic Wadding Polish which consists of a unique non-scratching wadding impregnated with a special polishing solution.  It is perfect for cleaning and polishing brass, and safely removes tarnish and fingerprints.

Simply remove a piece of wadding from the can and rub it thoroughly over the surface to be polished.

Give brass a wipe afterwards with a clean dry cloth (optional - lightly spray cloth with a lubricant, such as WD-40™) to remove any excess Nevr-Dull and to give it a nice shine.

NICKEL PRODUCTS

There is very little cleaning required with nickel products, but you may wish to touch them up every so often. Lightly spray a soft cloth with a lubricant, such as WD-40, and wipe the cases gently.  This will remove any dirt and give them a nice shine.

Please keep in mind that excessive cleaning (rubbing) of nickel cases can remove the nickel finish.

AMERICAN EAGLE / TEXAS STAR PRODUCTS

Please note for our American Eagle or Texas Star style belt buckles, the antique silver and gold plating is very thin, use care and avoid excessive polishing or buffing.

SHOTGUN SHELL PRODUCTS

We suggest using Nevr-Dull on the brass ends (only) as described above, and then lightly spraying a soft cloth with a lubricant, such as WD-40, and wiping the plastic hulls gently to give them a nice shine and the brass ends to remove any excess Nevr-Dull.

BOLO TIES

We suggest gently wiping the Bolo Tie cord by hand with a clean damp cloth and to keep the cord fresh smelling, lightly spray the cord with Febreze™ Fabric Refresher.  Clean the brass or nickel as described above.

TIPS
HOW TO STORE A BOLO TIE

The best way to store your Bolo Tie is by hanging it on a tie rack, over a peg, or by laying it out straight and flat on a clean surface.  The cords usually always have a "memory" and will look best if stored in a nicely aligned position rather than curled up.  When you first receive your Bolo Tie, as it has been folded in its package, the cord will have retained a folded memory.  Immediately remove your Bolo Tie from the package and hang it up straight.
BRASS KEEPSAKE URN - CAP REMOVAL WARNING

When packaged for shipping, the caps are just inserted snug in the case.  We do this is so you can easily remove the cap.  You can fit the cap tightly after you have filled it.

If you take the cap off after it has been fully and tightly inserted (to open it again) by pulling on the cord to "pop" the cap, PLEASE WEAR GLOVES. The metal cap can cause injury to your hand if it hits it.  Be sure to also turn your hands away from your body so the cap is not being pulled (popped) towards your face, or injury may result.
