Federal Shotgun Shell Guitar Knobs are handmade using the heads (the ends) of authentic Federal 12 gauge shotgun shell hulls. We use authentic shotgun shell primers (fired, so they are safe), to enhance the overall look and complete the finished look of your guitar (colour of used primers may vary).
Our Federal Guitar Knobs are approximately 1/2 inch high by 7/8 inch wide (diameter across), they are higher than our standard guitar knobs and designed to fit flush with the guitar body, on most models. |

If purchasing brass guitar knobs, keep in mind they will require occasional polishing. |

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Quick push-on knobs makes installation a breeze. Gently push the knob on splined shaft with your thumb until it stops. DO NOT force it any further as the primer may pop out.
Once installed, they can be difficult to remove, they are intended to be installed once.
Tip: The split is sometimes pushed together when factory knobs are installed. To get a tighter fit when installing our guitar knobs, the split spline pot shaft may have to be slightly spread (you can use a wedge shape style screwdriver blade to gently spread them apart). |
