Our Bullet Fountain Pens are built using a commercial fountain pen kit which has been modified to fit authentic nickel rifle cases and feature 24-karat gold plating on all fittings and pocket clip which allow you to carry this pen in your pocket. These are hand assembled and fitted, and fall into the category of a large solid brass cigar fountain pen. This pen is not only large but has a good hefty weight.
This is a very unique and beautiful fountain pen!
The length of this pen capped is 5 1/2 inches, it is 6 1/4" with the cap posted on the end, and 5" without the cap.
The fountain pen has a German-made iridium-tipped nib and uses a Standard or International Short cartridge (not included *) which may be purchased at your local stationery or office supply store.
Included is an ink siphon pump (pictured to the left) that may be used in lieu of a cartridge.
* The reason we do not carry or supply the ink cartridges is that because these refills must be protected against freezing, they are not available for shipment from October through April up here in Canada.
The cap on this Fountain Pen is postable.
Postable means that it can be secured onto the back of the pen when in use (picture to the left is cap posted).
The Fountain Pen can be used for writing either cap posted or for those with smaller hands may prefer using the pen unposted (picture to the left is cap unposted).
Both ways are well balanced and comfortable to write with.
We include detailed refill replacement instructions and each pen comes with a lifetime guarantee.
As the use, care and maintenance of the fountain pen nib is outside of our control, we are unable to guarantee the nib.
As there are so many individual hand operations required to make our Bullet Pens, each pen will be subtly different in design and dimension. Due to the varying quality of nickel cases by each manufacturer, each pen will be distinct due to any minor marks, dings and/or other blemishes on the cases.
