We use a new indoor mini Christmas light set and add authentic 12 gauge shotgun shell hulls which have been modified to accept the individual lights. When a light string has more than one color of hulls used, when it is opened and stretched out, the hulls on the string are attached in alternating colors.
Our Shotgun Shell light sets are carefully put together. We hand pick each hull, using only the cleanest hulls, no rusted ends here, and all the hulls match.
Individual lights are inserted into each hull by hand and carefully crimped closed, not held together with plastic cinch ties, glue or just flattened. This makes for a nice clean overall look.

35 E/E Set features are:

light set has a plug at both ends, you can purchase any additional amount of E/E (end to end) light sets and join them together to make one continuous string
made using thirty five fired shotgun shells (as our supplies of hulls vary, the hulls used in each light set may not look exactly as illustrated)
hulls can be carefully removed to change bulbs
light set has clear bulbs with the exception of the Silver Party and White Party model which use multi coloured bulbs
the overall length is approximately 11' (the overall length may not be exact to light set you receive as the length of light sets vary between each manufacturer and/or shipment)
