As our Shotgun Shell Take-Down Walking Sticks are individually hand crafted, each walking stick is unique and subtly different in design and dimension. As our supply of hulls vary, the hulls used in each walking stick may not look exactly as illustrated. The features are:
15 recycled Winchester AA 12 gauge shotgun shell hulls
5/8" diameter hardwood core
stained hardwood ball for the hand grip (approx 2" diameter)
new rubber (not vinyl) tip
overall weight is approx 11 oz (310 g)
overall length is approx 37 1/2"
disassembles into three pieces; oversized 6" screws hold each section together for extra strength
Our walking sticks ARE NOT intended for full weight or medically required applications. However, they can be used by people who would like a small amount of support when walking or if you would just like to own a really novel walking stick.
Each walking stick consists of three sections, which screw together. When assembling your walking stick, snug each section together firmly, DO NOT over tighten.
Walking stick is equipped with a rubber tip for those who will be using it indoors or outdoors, and it is removable for display purposes.
It takes 30 individual shotgun shell hulls to construct one walking stick. This allows us the extra brass heads as each hull is capped at both ends.
These walking sticks are a fixed length and depending on your physical characteristics may be too long or too short for you. Please keep this in mind when ordering.
Our walking sticks were originally created for customers as a unique, collectable walking stick as it is of an unusual design. Rick started making these for trap and skeet shooters who wanted a unique gift, for club award banquets, and for prizes at shooting events.
These have become quite popular as a gift for all hunting and outdoors enthusiasts.
They are entirely made by hand and unique in their construction. We find the contrast between the color of the shotgun shells, the brass heads and the stained hardwood hand grip quite striking.
Walking Sticks are shipped disassembled.
Custom sized walking sticks are available on request, however they may take up to four weeks to assemble.
